36 in 365 days

This is my list of 36 things I’d like to accomplish in the next 365 days (a shorter version of the 101 in 1001 challenge).

Half long-term to do list and half short-term bucket list, I’m hoping that by writing these goals here, I will be better at sticking to them.

  2. Donate blood (November 2015)
  3. Watch 3 documentaries (4/3 – Dear Zachary, Blackfish, Burt’s Buzz, Nothing Left Unsaid)
  4. Travel to a new city (Richmond, VA, March 2016)
  5. Travel to a new state (Wisconsin, November 2015)
  6. Travel to a new country
  7. Run 3 organized races, of any length (3/3 – Baltimore Half Marathon in October 2015, Day 1 Run in January 2016, St. Michael’s Half Marathon in May 2016)
  8. Attend a country music concert
  9. Go paddle boarding
  10. Adopt a rescue dog
  11. Go antiquing at Elephant’s Trunk Flea Market
  12. Go 2 weeks without eating meat (January 2016)
  13. Try 5 new foods (5/5 – french onion soup, brie, deviled eggs, siracha, black bean burger, May 2016)
  14. Volunteer for a cause I’m passionate about
  15. Unplug completely for 24 hours (no internet, phone, tv etc) (may 2016)
  16. Add 5 things to my vintage trophy/matchbook collections (4/5)
  17. Donate 20 pieces of clothing to charity (22/20)
